How to find the name of new EDM songs?

Most of us in the EDM community listen to music for free through online streaming sites, radio and many other mediums. But most times we come across a song that we really like, but you cannot find the name of the song.

If you are like me, music is like nicotine for a smoker. We need it almost every minute. Even when I go to bed, I listen to music. I am always looking for the latest music andbecause of that I usually end up listening to a lot of house music radio. As you can tell, I get excited when I find a new song that I really like. However, what usually dampens that excitement is when I am not able to find the name of the song or the artist and that is a common occurrence when you listen to shabby house music radio. So I did my research and came up with a few solutions and I thought I would share them with you.
The first and best solution is Shazam. Shazam is application that is able to identify a song just by listening to bits of a song. The song recognition on this application is absolutely incredible. Some of the new house music that I listen usually has a foreign vocalist and even then Shazam was able to instantly able to identify the artist and song. Once the song is recognized, you are able to see an overview of the artist, watch videos of the artist on YouTube and even purchase their songs on Amazon.

The next solution that I came up with is using good ol’ Google. This solution only applies to those songs that have lyrics, but then again most of the songs played on house music radio do always have lyrics in them. So if you are able to understand the lyrics, then go on Google and enter a sentence from the lyrics of the song. Place the sentence in quotation marks with the word “lyrics” at the end and hit search. Voila! You should see the name of the song along with the artist among the search results.

Have you used any of these solutions? Do you know of an easier way to identify the artist and title of a song? Sound off in the comments!
